Woodfin – Local company Palmer Wahl Instruments announces the addition of Differential Pressure chart recorders to its existing line of mechanical circular chart recorders. Featuring an edge-welded rupture proof pressure cell for up to 30% added lifespan and greatly improved linearity.

The fully mechanical differential pressure cell with dual bellows design requires no power, and is made of stainless steel. Differential pressure cell features over-range protection and pulsation dampening to compensate for variations in line pressure, as well as a temperature compensator to protect the unit from drift caused by ambient temperature changes.

The new recorders are built in the company’s Woodfin facility. These differential pressure recorders are the latest addition to the company’s mechanical temperature and pressure recorders, in production continuously for over 60 years. Company President Stephen J. Santangelo said, “Our customers have been asking for differential pressure recorders for several years, and we are pleased to offer this new product line to meet their needs.”
