WEAVERVILLE — The Tribune just received a press release claiming the most expensive home ever sold in Weaverville was purchased back in December.

The release stated, “A magnificent mountaintop estate has sold for $2.1 million, the highest-priced residential sale ever recorded in the history of Weaverville. “

According to the release the home “sold on December 23, 2019, it was also the third highest priced sale in the Weaverville/Asheville for the year. Located at 83 Cozy Mountain Lane, the property encompasses over 70 acres and boasts stunning year-round views. Alec Cantley, of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Asheville office, exclusively marketed and sold the residence.
